Samoa Joe's recent capture of the NXT Championship for a second time has lead many fans to believe that Joe is unlikely to be called up to WWE's main roster anytime soon. While it's true that he's unlikely to get promoted while holding the NXT Championship, Joe's title reign may not last as long as everyone thinks.

NXT begins a tour of Japan this December that NXT may use as an opportunity to put the title back on hometown hero, Shinsuke Nakmaura.

That would leave Joe as a former two-time NXT Champion, having defeated Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura for the title. What else would Joe have left to accomplish in NXT? With the Royal Rumble coming up in January, WWE's often used a spot or two in this match to introduce fans to an NXT superstar.

While AJ Styles skipped NXT altogether, we saw what a surprise Royal Rumble performance did for that former TNA Champion's career. Why not give Joe the same opportunity in San Antonio come Royal Rumble '17?

A Samoa Joe vs. Goldberg match has been talked about By fans since Goldberg announced his return. With Joe's bump card not getting any shorter as well as the time Goldberg has left in the ring, now's the time to pull the trigger on this new-age dream match, if it's ever going to happen.
