Speaking of AJ Styles, his first year with WWE has been nothing short of unbelievable. To start, his surprise appearance at the 2016 Royal Rumble set fans into a frenzy with just the mere sight of The Phenomenal One in a WWE ring.

Fast forward a few months and Styles would soon be mixing it up with Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns, and John Cena, with nearly all of those matches becoming instant classics. But the biggest shock of all came at Backlash 2016 when AJ Styles defeated Dean Ambrose to become WWE Champion.

In under a year, AJ Styles debuted on the WWE main roster without having to go through NXT or the Performance Center, wrestled at WrestleMania in front of 100,000 people, defeated John Cena one-on-one twice, and became WWE Champion. Wouldn't a match against Goldberg at WrestleMania 33 be the cherry on top?

After his incredible run of 2016, it has to be considered a possibility. Plus, given the caliber of matches AJ's put on with everyone he's stepped into the ring with thus far, a Goldberg/Styles clash at WrestleMania would be the perfect cap to a phenomenal first year.
