WWE WrestleMania 35: 12 Live Observations From A Casual Fan
10. The Ring Mic Is Too Loud
It's understandable that WWE would want to make sure their bumps are as loud as possible for maximum effect - particularly in a stadium as big as the MetLife - but it is unforgivable how loud the mic under the ring was turned up.
Thanks to a belting sound system, every thud on the canvas echoed like the boom of a mining explosion. And it wasn't just for the bigger spots - if someone stamped too hard, the over-zealous sound effect was incredibly distracting.
They clearly didn't balance the need for heightening the aural experience with the need for authenticity.
