When the crowd was hot at WrestleMania, it was a major part of the storytelling of the match. The hottest points came during the Big Three matches - when Rollins, Becky Lynch and Kofi all won - but the interactions between the fans and the ring action mattered elsewhere too. Particularly when John Cena appeared to interrupt Elias.

WWE go a long way to shaping how the crowd impacts the product when it's televised - as with the apparent muting of the reaction to Reigns' entrance - and for better or worse, you don't get as much of a sense of the crowd as a character.

That's wildly different in the live experience - which was also very much the case with TakeOver and the G1 - and while there's alwasy going to be an element of fans who want to make a name for themselves through obnoxious behaviour, it's a poorer experience without the true reflection of the crowd.
