WWE WrestleMania 36: 10 Things That Must Happen
6. Most Matches Are Given Decent Time
As of press time, WrestleMania 36 boasts a staggering 16 matches. Currently, none of them are scheduled for any pre-show festivities, meaning this could be a straight up eight-match split per night. That's oddly restrained for WWE considering their relentless drive to make 'Mania seven billion hours long over the past number of years.
Eight match split or otherwise, not every match needs to be 15-20 minutes long.
Some, like Elias vs. 'King' Corbin, Aleister Black vs. Bobby Lashley, the SmackDown Women's Title match and The Kabuki Warriors vs. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross, would actually benefit from being on the shorter side. There's not a lot of meat on the bone with any of them, and they'll only outstay their welcomes quickly if they drag on.
On the flip side, staged gimmick matches such as The Undertaker vs. AJ Styles, Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena and the like can take as long as they need. WWE surely know the dynamics for this year's show are different. There's no live crowd to entertain - take advantage of that.
