WWE WrestleMania 36: 10 Things That Must Happen
5. Goldberg Retains
No live crowd means no 60/70,000 strong army chanting "Goldberg! Goldberg! Goldberg!" during the man's entrance. That could hurt his aura on the night, or it could play into his hands if the match is short enough anyway. It surely will be; WWE learned their lesson the hard way with that at last year's Super Show-Down against 'Taker.
Also, Roman Reigns is officially out, and a replacement will be announced on this week's SmackDown. This might sound harsh, but Goldberg's core purpose on the show died with Reigns' announcement, and that's coming from a WCW fanboy who lives for Bill's intensity and squash-match style.
It doesn't matter who replaces Roman. Really, it doesn't.
Goldberg must retain now so WWE can pocket the good promo work and confrontations both men worked on SmackDown and pull the trigger later this year. It'd be a mistake to remove the Universal Title from Goldberg in some last-minute, hastily-rearranged match.
