WWE WrestleMania 37: 10 Awesome Matches That Should Happen (And Why They Won't)
1. Roman Reigns Vs. Big E.
In a perfect world, WrestleMania 37 will end with a triumphant Big E. holding the Universal Championship aloft, celebrating with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods as confetti falls around the current Intercontinental Champion. Big E. should be the man to end the reign of Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, standing up to the Big Dog and making believers out of a new generation of WWE fans. The former Langston is more than ready for this moment, and the booking of Reigns in recent months makes it even more necessary.
There is a chance that this could still happen, but the noise surrounding a possible Roman/Big E. Universal Championship match has quietened down in recent weeks. Daniel Bryan and Shinsuke Nakamura have emerged as other potential WrestleMania dance partners with Roman, with most WrestleMania cards shunting E. into a multi-person Intercontinental Championship match.
There's still time for WWE to right this ship and put these two on a collision course. All it requires is the former New Day man to win the Royal Rumble and challenge The Big Dog for the Showcase of the Immortals. If WWE has any real interest in its future as an interesting wrestling promotion, Roman Reigns vs. Big E. must be the WrestleMania 37 main event,
Best get ready for Roman vs. Brock again, I guess...
