WWE WrestleMania 37: 10 Awesome Matches That Should Happen (And Why They Won't)

2. Edge Vs. AJ Styles

Do we really have to sit through Edge vs. Randy Orton again? The two have unfinished business, and the only thing stopping another WrestleMania singles match between the two is the fiery retribution of The Fiend. Imagine that? What a wretched time this is for WWE RAW.

But there is hope! As Edge himself said, the window on his career is shutting all the time, meaning time is running out on the plethora of dream matches that the Rated R Superstar's shocking return had us dreaming of. That list contains names as varied as Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura and Seth Rollins, but the man at the top deserves this shot more than anyone.

Edge vs. AJ Styles has been a mainstream wrestling dream match for 15 years, since the days The Phenomenal One was carrying TNA on his back and Edge was excelling as one of the best heels in the business. Neither man is getting any younger, and this match needs to happen sooner rather than later. WrestleMania 37 seems like the perfect stage.

Imagine having to hope for another Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt match at WrestleMania? Yikes. If that is the price we must pay for AJ vs. Edge, then so be it.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
