WWE WrestleMania 37: 10 Things That Must Happen
2. Drew McIntyre Has His Moment
Last year, an emotional Drew McIntyre reached his hand out to "touch" wrestling fans watching 'Mania 36 from home. That unscripted moment was raw, real and meant a lot to the Scot. Afterwards, Drew spent the bulk of 2020 performing in front of LED board inside the ThunderDomes at Amway Center and Tropicana Field.
He didn't get to work as WWE Champion once in front of an actual live crowd.
This could be considered knee-jerk, but WWE should seriously think about giving McIntyre his moment in front of fans at Raymond James this weekend. Being honest, they've shattered some of Bobby Lashley's appeal by splitting The Hurt Business anyway, and sentimentality may trump him on Saturday.
WrestleMania 37 will likely only feature one World Title switch too. If anyone reading this likes a bet, then put your money on Drew grabbing that WWE belt from Lashley. He could always drop it back to Bob on Raw 24 hours later. Y'know, just saying.
