WWE WrestleMania 40: 20 Nightmares That Could Come True

A few midcard names are conspicuous by their absence from both nights at WrestleMania.

There's no room on either card for Ricochet, Bronson Reed, Ivar, Shinsuke Nakamura and the like, for example. Then, on the women's side, everyone from Nia Jax and Natalya to Liv Morgan and Tiffany Stratton will be posted missing. That is, of course, unless WWE runs one of those dreaded Battle Royals for the sake of it.

SmackDown has the usual Andre The Giant Memorial again this year, but there's no female Battle Royal to speak of. Will Trips cave there and make sure loads of others get a slice of the big 'Mania money pie? Don't rule it out. Last-minute additions certainly aren't out of the question.

The other solution would be an exhibition like Ricochet vs. Reed or Stratton vs. Natalya. Neither of those sound worthy of the WrestleMania name though, and neither night can support too many lesser bouts. A couple are already on thin ice with fans as it is.
