Good lord, the build towards Logan Paul's latest United States Title defence has been utter b*llocks. Kevin Owens and Randy Orton have actually worked more like tag-team partners than opponents, and everything just has this peripheral vibe to it. You can almost picture creative palming the story off during crunch meetings.

They've got bigger stories to focus on.

The way Orton and KO have been getting along leads to another question: Could the babyface duo pin LP at the same time somehow and end 'Mania as co-US Champs? WWE tried that many moons ago with the IC belt and the on/off Chris Jericho and Chyna partnership, but it's been a while since the co-champs thing has happened.

Paul dropping the midcard prize would be puzzling regardless, but to do so because Randy and Kev want to share the spoils? Nah, that'd be unacceptable. Keeping the belt exactly where it is sounds like the best course of action. No co-champs, please.
