WWE WrestleMania 40: 20 Things That Must Happen

9. LA Knight Beats AJ Styles

This weekend is huge for LA Knight.

Like Rhea Ripley over Becky Lynch, he inarguably needs the win more than his opponent AJ Styles. Despite getting into the shape of his life lately, AJ just doesn't have to win this match. In fact, it'd be for the best if he put Knight over and helped push LA up the ladder towards title belts yet again.

Stay tuned for more on this to come, but Knight is presumably going to be someone's foe in the US Title hunt soon-ish. If that's going to be the case over the summer, then he should beat Styles, grab a nearby microphone and say something simple like: 'It's time for LA Knight to hold some shiny gold. YEAH!'.

Philadelphia would "YEAH" along with the guy, and it'd become clear that WWE wasn't finished with his unexpected breakout babyface push quite yet. Don't worry about AJ. He'll be absolutely fine, and can bounce into another 'B' tier story soon enough.
