Rhea Ripley has been Women's World Champion for a full year now, but memorable title defences on TV and PLE have been few and far between for 'Mami'. On the whole, she's been more of a non-wrestling character during Judgment Day's rise, but this is a big time collision with Becky Lynch for sure.

It's a big time collision Rhea must survive.

Look, Becky has a book to promote and is obviously one of the best female stars in company history. She probs has a few more title runs in her, but Lynch definitely doesn't need the title as much as Ripley these days. Giving Rhea a 'Mania win over someone who made history by headlining the card in 2019 could be massive for her.

In short, Ripley shouldn't be torn down and passed over just so WWE has the excuse to book another pyro-laden title change. She's the future of women's wrestling, not 'The Man'. Beating Becky would show off Triple H's faith in Rhea going forwards into the rest of 2024.
