Night 1's truly tasty business is about to be examined, so strap yourselves in.

"Strap" is the operative word here too, because Seth Rollins' World Heavyweight Championship is a belt freshly turned heel Drew McIntyre has become obsessed with. That obsession is grounded in reality too. Drew won the WWE Title at 'Mania 36 in 2020, but the global pandemic robbed him of a title run in front of crowds.

WrestleMania 40 weekend is his chance to put that right, and the maniacal Scot should stop at nothing to get one over on his rival ahead of their clash on night 2. That's why McIntyre must rush out during the opening night's blockbuster tag scrap and blast Seth with his own belt for a laugh.

Rollins has Cody Rhodes' back and is warring with The Bloodline too, but his main quest line falls elsewhere. Matches vs. Drew and (eventually) CM Punk mean more to him, so it's vital WWE don't lose sight of what Seth is actually there to do in Philly.
