WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2021: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
5. WWE Raw Women's Title: Rhea Ripley (c) Vs. Asuka Vs. Charlotte Flair
Result: Rhea retains the title after putting Asuka away with the Riptide (15:20).
Rating: It's tempting to whine about WWE's boring, predictable multi-person match formula until the end of time, but at least this triple threat match moved fast and kept switching-up its configurations.
It would've been nice to see Charlotte eat the pin instead of Asuka, but most importantly the right person won. The inevitable Rhea/Charlotte match in the future doesn't muster much excitement, but this was a solid-if-unremarkable triple threat bout for the most part.
The producer really screwed up the camera coverage at the end, though, as we never saw Charlotte get knocked off the apron, which made it seem like she just...didn't break up Rhea's pin. Weird. 6/10
