Result: Dominik puts Roode away with the Frog Splash to win the titles (17:00).

Rating: Everything about this just worked. There are few better wrestlers to play the against-the-odds underdog than Rey Mysterio, and Ziggler and Roode played their opposing roles terrifically.

Nobody was surprised when Dominik returned later in the match, but his absence made for a simple-yet-entertaining story, and confirmed just how hard Rey can go even at this obviously late stage in his career.

You can argue that this might've been more meaningful with a longer, stronger build on a marquee PPV like SummerSlam, but that heart-warming ending was totally irresistible regardless. Rey and Dominik are now the first-ever father-son tag champs in WWE history - you love to see it. 7/10
