WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2022: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

8. Omos Squashes Bobby Lashley

Here's where it could all go south for Bobby Lashley.

WWE handed the ex-World Champion some new production bells and whistles on Monday, but they may well view Omos as the priority come Sunday. MVP has been installed as the giant's new guiding light, and that'll play into the story at Backlash too.

Do not be surprised if big Bob comes out the traps punching like a man possessed, then gets cut down because Porter interfered and Omos took charge. A standard squash could happen from there, and it'd be hellish for Lashley right now; he can't really afford to look weak or he'll tumble right down the pecking order.

Can Omos win? Yes, but only if it's obvious that MVP caused his old client to take an eye off the prize. Squashing Lashley would be stupid, counterproductive and wouldn't suddenly shoot Omos towards the main event mix anyway.

Patience is important with this dude.
