WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2022: 10 Things That Must Happen
7. Then Beats Happy Corbin
Moss would need to score the win over his old 'Happy Folks' partner Baron Corbin if he's ever going to be taken seriously too. Seriously, losing to someone like Corbin during the earliest moments of this babyface turn would be disastrous for WWE's wannabe good guy.
They'd be shooting themselves right in the foot there.
Fans haven't exactly been responsive to Moss thus far, and reactions have become apathetic at best in recent weeks, but no-one should be thinking about giving up on him just yet. A victory over Corbin would set Madcap on the right track and perhaps give him a wee bit of momentum during the summer months.
He badly needs that, 'cause playing the clown besides Happy hasn't done much for his standing with the fanbase. Give Moss the win here, line something interesting up for him on next week's SmackDown, and then take it from there.
That's WWE only shot at making this work.
