WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2022: 10 Things That Must Happen

3. SmackDown’s Women Headline

There's only one choice to main event WrestleMania Backlash.

The six-man tag pitting Roman Reigns and The Usos vs. Drew McIntyre and RK-Bro is heavy on star power but light on meaningful stakes. Meanwhile, other bouts like Rhodes vs. Rollins and Styles vs. Edge lack the heavyweight punch to close out Sunday's pay-per-view with a bang.

Anyone who has followed SmackDown over the past few months will know that Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair has sagged on the microphone. Physically, however, they're capable of wonderful things. This "I Quit" scenario is perfect for Ronda, and it should bring out the best in her.

Fingers crossed that's the case.

Few will moan if WWE puts the SmackDown Women's Title bout on last at Backlash. Rousey's pursuit of the title has been one of the blue brand's biggest stories (even overtaking the previously-peerless Roman Reigns and his business as Undisputed Champ), and it deserves the headline spotlight.
