WrestleMania 35 will forever be remembered for that special main event. It took 35 years, but women were finally main event WrestleMania.

Defending Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey, defending SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair, and 2019 women's Royal Rumble winner Becky Lynch were deserving of such an opportunity. The build to this match, which truly began the previous August, was cracking.

Sadly, the match itself was let down a bit by an obviously deflated live audience and a shoddy ending, but otherwise, this was great.

Once again proving that a triple threat is the maximum you really need for WrestleMania matches, Rousey, Flair, and Lynch told a great story. There weren't really any alliances formed throughout this match; instead, they all wailed at each other, culminating in Charlotte being slammed through the announce table.

The match-winning pinfall, where Lynch reversed Ronda's Piper's Pit attempt into a rollup, was a flat ending to an otherwise great match. 'The Baddest Woman on the Planet' had clearly gotten her shoulder up, which ruined the match to an extent.

Still, women main evented WrestleMania. That can never be taken away from those who were involved. Had the crowd not already been immensely drained by a total of fifteen other matches before this, then it would have benefitted massively.
