WWE's 10 Biggest Falls From Grace In 2018

8. The Miz

In 2016 and 2017, The Miz was arguably one of the best superstars on the roster, regularly putting on solid matches and delivering knockout promos just about every week. The beginning of Miz's 2018 was promising as well, as he defeated Roman Reigns at RAW 25 to capture his eighth Intercontinental Championship. After losing the belt to Seth Rollins in a triple threat match between them and Finn Bálor at WrestleMania 34, Miz remained relevant, but found himself losing key matches a lot more than he was winning them.

But finally, after years of taunting Daniel Bryan over his premature retirement, Bryan was medically cleared to return and WWE gave us the blow-off feud we'd been waiting for. Sadly, it did not deliver. Miz defeated Bryan uncleanly in a lacklustre match at SummerSlam, his wife Maryse pinned Bryan's wife Brie Bella in a less-adequate mixed tag match at Hell in a Cell, and then Bryan defeated him in just over two minutes at WWE Super Show-Down... then the feud just sort of ended.

The cherry on top of this s**t sundae came at Crown Jewel, when Miz was replaced mid-match in the "Best in the World" tournament finals by Shane-bloody-McMahon, who went on to win the whole damn thing. It sucked.

Now, it looks like they're trying to turn Miz face, as he's coercing Shane O'Mac into being his tag team partner. And we all know how well Miz's character works as a face...
