WWE's 10 Biggest Falls From Grace In 2018

In late 2017, Sami Zayn freshened up his character by turning heel for the first time in his career and aligning with long-time rival Kevin Owens.

The two started off 2018 well enough, with a pair of non-title victories over then-WWE Champion AJ Styles to their names and a handicap match for the WWE Title booked for that year's Royal Rumble. Somehow, the two lost to Styles that night, then lost again in a six-pack challenge for the championship at Fastlane. After losing to a returning Daniel Bryan and Shane-sodding-McMahon at WrestleMania, Zayn and Owens found themselves lost in the shuffle on RAW.

Zayn, in particular, entered a feud with Bobby Lashley... and it was awful. After a series of laughably-bad segments (including the now-infamous "Lashley's sisters" bit), Zayn was utterly humiliated by Lashley at Money in the Bank. The match ended up being Zayn's last of the year, as he would go on to have surgery to repair both of his rotator cuffs.

Thankfully, according to a recently-aired vignette, he is set to return to action soon. Let's hope that he stays the hell away from Lashley's sisters this time around.
