WWE's 10 Biggest Falls From Grace In 2018

3. Bobby Lashley

When Bobby Lashley returned to WWE the night after WrestleMania 34, the pop was deafening. Lashley had largely reinvented himself during his time away from WWE; his legitimate MMA pedigree helped him to develop a bada**, take-no-s**t character on Impact Wrestling, a huge move in the right direction after his largely-characterless first run in WWE.

Naturally, it would've made sense for WWE to put him directly into a feud with Brock Lesnar, as he's probably the only guy on the active roster who could take him on in a legitimate fight. It looked like they were heading in that direction, too, as Lashley dominated pretty much everyone he was put in the ring with and even beat Roman Reigns clean at Extreme Rules. However, for some reason, WWE got cold feet and once again gave us Reigns vs. Lesnar at SummerSlam rather than giving the fans a dream matchup that they've been asking for for years.

Since then, Lashley did turn heel and is now playing something similar to the role he had in Impact Wrestling, but his babyface run gave the fans little reason to care about him in the first place. Plus, he keeps losing to guys like Elias and Finn Bálor, so that certainly isn't helping his stock grow.

He is getting a decent amount of heat thanks to Lio Rush, though, so perhaps that will go somewhere.
