This was one of the most ridiculous and over the top storylines in all of WWE in 2002, which was a year full of crazy storylines. Dawn Marie made a name for herself on the Smackdown brand by trying to get in the head of Torrie Wilson. She did so by going after Torrie's father Al Wilson, who was legitimately her dad. They could have used an actor, but they went with her real dad for it. The relationship continued with Dawn telling Torrie she'll stop if Torrie gets involved with Dawn herself. Even after Torrie did it (the memorable make out scene from a hotel room), Dawn still married Al because heels lie even they are really hot. They got married in the Smackdown ring. It wasn't just any kind of ceremony, though. Dawn ended up in her bra & panties because she had no problem showing skin while poor Al was also in his undies for it too. Perhaps the whole thing wasn't "great" although the sight of Dawn dressed like that definitely makes it a memorable wedding. After the wedding, Al died during the honeymoon with the idea that it was the sex that killed him. When they had the funeral, that was also shown on Smackdown and led to Torrie fighting Dawn in the funeral home. In case you're wondering, Al is still alive.
