WWE's 10 Smallest World Champions Ever

1. Rey Mysterio: 5'6" 175 Pounds

Rey Mysterio is the "biggest little man in WWE history" and the smallest World Champion they've ever had. He's a two time World Heavyweight Champion and he held the WWE Title once too. The first World Title win happened at WrestleMania 22 in 2006. It was a triple threat match where Kurt Angle defended the World Title (from the Smackdown brand) against Mysterio and Randy Orton. They had a very exciting 10 minute match that should have went longer, but for whatever reasons their time was cut. It was still a great moment to see Mysterio win the gold because a lot of us never thought he would ever reach that level. Mysterio also won the World Title in 2010 although that was only a transitional reign that lasted less than a month. He became the WWE Champion in 2011 although that was even shorter since it lasted less than episode of Raw. Basically, he had a bunch of short reigns in his career. Since Mysterio is at the tail end of his career, it's safe to assume he'll never be WWE Champion again. It's also going to be difficult for somebody that's smaller him to reach that level because it was very hard for him to get there in the first place. He really is a one of a kind performer and is definitely the smallest WWE Champion there's ever been. That's a record he may hold onto forever.
