7. Glamarella
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1ulJIdRTVw Our seventh couple on the countdown is another unusual pairing, one that doesn't sound good on paper but, oddly, worked out pretty well on television. Santino Marella and "The Glamazon" Beth Phoenix ... Glamarella. On an episode of RAW in 2008, Santino held an open challenge for anyone to face him in the ring. Beth responded to the challenge and quickly defeated "the Milan Miracle." The next RAW, Santino had another open challenge and faced a returning D'Lo Brown with Beth watching from ringside. After the loss, Santino was confronted by Beth and the two shared a kiss that left them awkward and confused. The two then began dating, with Santino dubbing them "Glamarella" like famous couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's combined name of "Brangelina." At the SummerSlam Pay-Per-View in 2008, the two teamed up together to win the Women's Championship from Mickie James and the Intercontinental Championship from Kofi Kingston in a "Winners Take All" Mixed Tag Team Match. The couple proved entertaining with Beth being the straight person in the group constantly reacting to Santino's comedic shenanigans and misuse of the English language. Eventually, Santino's ridiculousness became too much for Beth after Santino dressed up in drag and snuck into the inaugural Miss WrestleMania 25-Diva Battle Royal (after being denied the opportunity because of his gender) and eliminated Beth and Melina Perez at the same time to win the title. Unimpressed with Santino and his adamant claim while in drag that he wasn't Santino but rather Santina Marella, her boyfriend's twin sister, "the Glamazon" had no choice but to call it quits.
