6. Linda & Vince McMahon
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6H7izXgvh4 How could we have a list talking about the greatest couples in WWE and not mention the couple that made the company what it is today? Everything hasn't been perfect behind the scenes for the most powerful couple in wrestling, which is probably why the encounters between the two were always so memorable. Despite being married both on-screen and off, they rarely cooperated with each other in front of the cameras, with Linda usually siding with the babyfaces and working for the greater good ... while Vince was portraying the ultimate "big bad." More often than not, Vince would get caught with his pants around his ankles (this literally happened once), carrying on with one of the many gorgeous Divas on the roster ... including the likes of Trish Stratus, Sable, Candice Michelle, Stacy Keibler, and Torrie Wilson. Linda, however, always got her revenge by deliberately sabotaging her husband by costing him important matches (like his Street Fight against their son Shane at WrestleMania X7) or by selling her shares of the company to Vince's most-hated rival ("Stone Cold" Steve Austin). In times of dire need, such as during the ECW/WCW Alliance, Linda would often put the past aside to come to her husband's aid. While Vince was the rage-filled and often emotional Chairman who sometimes committed actions without thinking about the consequences, Linda provided a counter-balance by being the calm, level-headed one. Some could argue that I'm wrong and that really I just got fooled by her monotone voice. Whether they worked with each other or against one another, there's no denying the greatness of this power couple.
