WWE's 20 Greatest Couples

4. Chyna & Triple H

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DE7eS-Eebss In at number four on the countdown is the pairing of Chyna and Triple H. Chyna debuted as Triple H.'s bodyguard, first seen choking out tiny little Marlena at ringside. She was a beast of a woman who could bench press the men and reduce you to tears with one forearm to the nuts, and she was partnered up with the future "Cerebral Assassin." When facing Triple H., wrestlers had to be weary of the fair-haired blue blood from Connecticut as well as his muscle-bound girlfriend; facing one of them pretty much guaranteed you'd be fighting in a Handicap Match, whether you cared to or not. Their loyalty to one another knew no bounds, even when Chyna betrayed Triple H. and joined The Corporation, Triple H. still showed concern after Kane (Chyna's colleague) blasted her in the face with a fireball by accident. Chyna was also able to qualify for the King of the Ring Tournament in 1999 because Triple H. gave up his spot for her, albeit only because he had more desire to win the WWE Championship than anything else (he still interfered to help Chyna win in her qualifying match against Val Venis). By late 1999, the two began distancing themselves from one another. Triple H. was quickly becoming the most prominent heel in the main event scene ... while Chyna was being cheered on as she approached her goal of becoming the first female Intercontinental Champion. With their careers heading in different directions, the relationship ceased to exist (another case of a wonderful and highly memorable relationship ending with no real closure). Behind the scenes, their relationship may have hit the rocks (hell, let's compare it to the iceberg the Titanic hit), but if we focus just on their television personas, Chyna and Triple H. is undoubtedly one of the best couples to have ever ruled over the ring.
