WWE's 53 Wrestlers Ranked From Worst To Best
28. R-Truth
Pros:
1. Has years of experience wrestling around the world
2. Can be funny when he wants to be
3. More-than-capable wrestler
Cons:
1. He's afraid of plastic spiders...and heights, apparently
2. Rarely wins his matches, which leads fans to assume that he’s going to lose
3. People are tired of him singing his entrance theme
R-Truth is a living example of insanity: he sings the same entrance theme and performs the same moves, expecting the crowd to react differently. In reality, Truth has become entrenched in the mid-card, with little to no hope of ever reaching the main event scene ever again.
Truth has proven, however, that he can work upper-mid-card matches, as long as he’s treated as an equal to his opponent. When he was challenging for the WWE title in 2011, he was able to work a long match with John Cena, but because his character was so outlandish, no one believed that he stood a chance of defeating Cena for the World title.
Truth is 43 years old, so another major title run is not likely. He’s probably going to spend the rest of his career putting over younger wrestlers on the lower card, or maybe he might receive another shot at the US or Intercontinental Championship. But don’t expect Truth to have any major storylines or gimmick changes, especially something similar to his ‘Little Jimmy’ gimmick in 2011.
