WWE's Corey Graves Wrestles For 'First Time In 5 Years'

That had to feel good for the SmackDown announcer...

Corey graves NXT

It feels like a lifetime ago that Corey Graves was working matches for WWE on NXT shows.

Injuries forced Graves from the ring in 2014, but he managed to rescue his WWE career by transitioning successfully into a colour commentary role. Now, he's one of the best analysts in the biz and sits comfortably alongside Michael Cole on SmackDown, but could Corey be about to make an unlikely in-ring return?

His brother, Sam Adonis, posted a clip onto social media that showed Graves working some spots. This, according to Sam, was the first time the brothers had locked up in 10 years, and the first time Corey has personally done anything physical inside a wrestling ring for around five years.

It had to feel good for Graves to grab a headlock, run the ropes and then hit his bro with a crisp STO.

Corey had previously spoken himself on Twitter about how Edge's WWE 24 documentary on the Network inspired him to believe that he could perhaps wrestle again someday.

Could this be the start of his road towards an in-ring comeback like the Canadian hero before him? Who knows.
