WWE's Crystal Ball: 8 Predictions For Superstars In 2016
1. The Year Of The Stable?
Look, lets not beat around the bush: we are automatically referring to the Balor Club. A spin-off adaptation of the licensed Bullet Club throughout New Japan Pro Wrestling and elsewhere in the realm of pro wrestling, Finn Balor is constantly teasing the debut of his rendition of his former overseas stable. Were all excited for their debut, which will undoubtedly include Machine Gun Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows at some point, but what if their ringleader will be the other member of the Bullet Club, AJ Styles, instead of Finn in the first place?
The fantasy booking of the Internet wrestling community has longed for two potential match-ups, and theres an outside shot that they could both take place in 2016. The WWEs version of the Bullet Club will come blow-to-blow with the Wyatt Family at some point, because that scenario simply books itself. Its money waiting to be printed and spent by the higher-ups at WWE, and fits any scenario, regardless if the two stables are babyfaces or heels.
The second match-up, however, is a longshot that is certainly worth talking about. The most dominant stable since Evolution in the WWE was the Shield. They ran rampant throughout the roster, put legends through tables, and cleaned house with clean victories. All three men in the Shield have not been more interesting since then, so why not bring them back together at the tail-end of the year once Rollins returns and Reigns drops the strap? If so, the Balor Club versus the Shield could be the biggest match in years for the company.
