While WWE may have cut down its live event schedule in the past couple of years, the company has still stuck to running its traditional Holiday Tour over the festive season and into the new year. And by all accounts, the latest Holiday Tour was a major success.
Per Fightful Select, both the Baltimore (26 December) and Worcester (3 January) events were "hugely successful," being the highest-grossing house shows in those cities' histories. Both shows were headlined by WWE ChampionCody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre, with the Baltimore match being a No DQ affair, and the Worcester one being a Steel Cage contest.
Interestingly, WWE opted not to run Madison Square Garden on 26 December this time around, which has been a long-standing tradition for the market leader. Instead, that date saw them head to Baltimore's CFG Arena to pull in a crowd of over 9,000 people. As well as Cody and Drew, that event's line-up featured WWE Women's Champion Jade Cargill defeating Michin, Jey Uso picked up a DQ win over Bron Breakker, Rey Mysterio scored a victory over Grayson Waller, the War Raiders got the better of the New Day, the Wyatt Sicks beat the MFTs, and Je'Von Evans once again came up short against the Ring General, Gunther.

As well as Baltimore and Worcester, this latest Holiday Tour also took in Pittsburgh, Tampa, Rochester, Jacksonville, Detroit, Fort Myers, and Syracuse, before wrapping up in Bridgeport, Connecticut yesterday. On top of that, WWE ran Raw from Orlando and SmackDown from Buffalo during this time, too.
