WWE's Pat McAfee Signs HUGE Big-Money Deal

If he wasn't already, Pat McAfee is about to become a very rich man.

As reported by The New York Post on Thursday, the WWE SmackDown announcer has signed a new contract with FanDuel for The Pat McAfee Show that'll score him around $30 million annually.

McAfee commented on a video uploaded to his show's Youtube channel that he had renewed an existing sponsorship contract with FanDuel for "an absurd amount of money." The deal lasts for four years, though it contains an opt-out clause after three.

Reporter Ian Rapoport originally broke the news of the extension, with Shams Charania confirming the dollar amount. There is currently no word on what portion of the $30 million will be base pay and how much will come from affiliate referrals, though it is likely that this number includes pay for other contributors on The Pat McAfee Show.

McAfee has served as a permanent member of the SmackDown announce team since April 2021, when he became a play-by-play announcer sitting alongside company veteran Michael Cole. Prior to this, his primary involvement in pro wrestling came through NXT, where he wrestled several times in 2020.
