Once he (probably) loses his Intercontinental Championship rematch with Dean Ambrose, Owens will risk sliding into the midcard if he doesn't regain momentum fast. One way of saving the situation would be with a fantastic feud, and they don't come much more fantastic than Owens vs. Zayn. The pair's multi-promotion spanning rivalry is as intense and hard-hitting as they come, and absolutely deserves an airing on the main roster. Zayn's appearances on the NXT UK tour have shown him to have bulked up since his injury, hopefully indicating a call-up in the very near future. In the ring, he's looked as sharp as ever, delivering a string of brilliant matches opposite current NXT Champion Finn Balor.
