While much has been made about the number of times Roman Reigns has closed out a WrestleMania, the Tribal Chief also has been pretty successful in those matches.

Sunday night, Reigns tied Hulk Hogan for the most WrestleMania main event victories, winning his seventh. Unlike Hogan, however, it took Reigns a lot longer to reach that point.

Hogan won seven of his eight WrestleMania main events, only losing to the Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania VI. On the other hand, Reigns lost two of his first four main events and then lost main event matches at WrestleManias 40 and 41.

Still, it’s astonishing to realize that Roman has won more main events than the vast majority of wrestlers have even competed in. By comparison, Cody Rhodes has only wrestled five main events – and he’s only won two of those.
