7 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (2 March - Results & Review)

UPS…

7. Oba’s Next Challenger

WWE Raw Oba Femi Rusev
WWE

Oba Femi has been earning his frequent flyer miles recently, traveling from Raw to SmackDown, and running into challenges along the way. On SmackDown, it was Miz.

On Raw Monday night, it was Rusev calling the former NXT Champion out. Femi obliged, and the two had a staredown before they started teeing off on each other. Oba got the upper hand, but Rusev landed several kicks to briefly take control, only for Femi to hit a spinebuster and clothesline him out of the ring.

Next week’s match on Raw is basically a foregone conclusion, but it should be a pretty good collision of two meaty men, and that’s really all you need right now with Femi.

It’s also… something to see Rusev sit on the sidelines for months, only to emerge at WrestleMania Season… to serve as enhancement talent for an NXT call-up.
