3. Oba Got That Swagger

The bright lights of Saturday Night’s Main Event, with more than 19,000 fans present, might have swallowed up some wrestlers who are accustomed to wrestling in front of a couple of hundred people in the Performance Center, but Oba Femi certainly was not one of them.

Femi battled Cody Rhodes in a champion-versus-champion match and tossed the Undisputed WWE Champion around the ring for a good nine minutes. He methodically manhandled Rhodes, punching, beating, and slamming QB1 with ease, and with a fair amount of swagger. At one point, he caught Cody and held him in position for a backbreaker, and did a “put a cigarette out” taunt before executing the move.

Oba had Rhodes on his heels, with the WWE champ needing to go for Cody Cutters to knock the NXT Champion down a notch.

Regardless of the finish, Femi looked like he belonged and will have no problem acclimating to the main roster.
