WWE has leaned heavily on its many tropes throughout the years, and one of the most common ones has been the all-black-clad mystery figure attacking and then revealing himself/herself. This has been done to death in Bloodline angles in recent years.

Saturday, WWE employed the trope again during the men’s WarGames match, but they did two things differently: The figure executed a Seth Rollins-like stomp, and he fled the cage without revealing himself, leaving everyone to ask whether that was Rollins or someone else.

Speculation already has centered on one person (no spoilers here), but for storyline purposes, keeping it a mystery for at least a couple of days is a good move, especially because of the Rollins tease. When it turns out to not be Seth, they'd better make sure the guy revealed can earn his spot.

With so few things to praise from Survivor Series, a little thing like this is going to get a mild thumbs-up.
