11 Ways WWE Are Giving Brock Lesnar Away Too Cheaply

5. All Appearances Should Be Promoted Ahead Of Time

This one feels like it should be basic logic. If you have a wrestler like Brock, who costs you a lot of money to appear, who has a large following of fans, why wouldn't you advertise his appearance ahead of time? Too often Brock has been on Raw as a surprise. While that's nice for the fans in attendance, it doesn't really equate to good television ratings. If people know he's going to be there ahead of time, they're more likely to tune in and see what he's doing. If they don't know he's scheduled to appear, they might think it is going to be the usual Raw and do something else that evening. You might point out that his appearance usually gets advertised locally and on wrestling websites. But the vast majority of fans never go on wrestling websites, nor do they look at local listings that aren't in their area. What WWE should do is advertise Lesnar's appearance in advance on the television show and their website / social media.
