You Won't Believe Why Matt Cardona Had To Apologise To Triple H In WWE

Matt Cardona had to say sorry to Triple H, The Undertaker and Vladimir Kozlov.

Matt Cardona experienced a lot of ups and downs as Zack Ryder in WWE, but this might've been one of his most embarrassing moments.

Via his 'True Long Island Story' show, Cardona recalled the time he was told to apologise to Triple H and Vladimir Kozlov backstage. He and pal Brian Myers (Curt Hawkins) were sitting in Gorilla watching a 2009 house show main event between Trips and Kozlov when The Undertaker noticed they were on their phones rather than watching the monitor.

Outraged, 'Taker reminded the tag-team that they should be paying attention. Presumably looking to teach them a lesson, the legend also told both guys that they had to say sorry to the guys involved in the headliner.

So, they did...awkwardly.

Cardona remembered his brief exchange with a confused Kozlov behind the curtain, but that was nothing compared to what happened next; he strolled into Hunter's locker room, explained the situation and personally apologised.

Triple H barely gave a sh*t (he was probs too busy winding down after his match) and told Matt not to worry.

This incident coincided with Hawkins and Ryder's split from Edge. Their 'Edgeheads' run rather conveniently came to an end almost instantly afterwards, and Cardona doesn't think that was happenstance.
