Zelina Vega ESCORTED From WWE Venue After Vince McMahon Declined Meeting

Despite calling her one of his favourite performers in the company, VKM refused to meet with Vega.

While it’s still crazy to think that WWE released the ridiculously talented Zelina Vega last week, now comes a new update on this whole situation.

If you remember, Vega was released by WWE last Friday. The person to break that news to the real-life Thea Trinidad was Mark Carrano, who is the WWE Senior Director of Talent Relations. According to speculation in the Wrestling Observer, though, the talent was shot down when asking to speak to Vince McMahon after being told of her release.

An unnamed source told the Observer that upon speaking to Carrano, Vega is reported to have asked to talk to McMahon - who previously labelled her one of his favourite performers and even compared her to Stephane McMahon - about this whole situation. In response, she was informed by Carrano that Vince did not want to speak to her. Not just that, but Zelina Vega was then escorted from the building.

From what we’re led to believe, Vega was released by WWE due to her activity on Twitch and OnlyFans. As part of WWE’s crackdown on talent using third party platforms, Zelina appears to have been used as an example to WWE’s ‘independent contractors’ on what can happen if they don’t conform to the company’s recent demands.

Whatever Thea Trinidad chooses to do next, wherever she ends up, she’ll be absolutely fine. Losing her dream job of being a WWE superstar is obviously heartbreaking to come to terms with, but someone like Thea is far too talented to not succeed in whatever she opts to focus on.
