Zoey Stark says "the comeback is greater than the setback" after suffering a brutal leg injury on WWE Raw this week.

Stark, who was hurt during a Money in the Bank qualifying Triple Threat with Rhea Ripley and Kairi Sane, spoke about the incident for the first time on Wednesday, tweeting:

Wow the love and support means more to me than you'll ever know! What hurts more than my knee is knowing I wont be able to perform for all of you for a while. I LOVE what I do and I'm blessed to do this. As the saying goes, the comeback is greater than the setback. Love you guys #StarkMarks

There is no word on the specific nature of Stark's injury or how long she will be out.

The former Pure Fusion Collective member was hurt when executing a springboard dropkick spot on Kairi Sane. Stark took an awkward landing while propelling herself across the ring, with one of her legs buckling beneath her, twisting back on itself. Zoey was immediately removed from the match and helped to the back.

Ripley and Sane continued the bout, with Rhea pinning Kairi to qualify for Money in the Bank.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that the match had to be changed after Stark's injury. WWE didn't want Sane to take a pinfall in her return match after five months out. They were unfortunately left with no choice following the injury, hence the finish.

Everybody at WhatCulture wishes Zoey Stark all the best as she recovers.
