10 Amazing Comic Book Redesigns That Didn't Last

3. Deathstroke Defiance

The Ikon suit sported by Deathstroke throughout DC Rebirth is by far the character's best look, but it's not the only one he rocks. When operating as the leader of a team of superheroes known as Defiance, Deathstroke dons a black and white Ikon costume complete with a cape. Nothing beats the black and orange, but if anything were to come close - or deserved to stick around for longer - it would be his outfit for Defiance.

Deathstroke is one of the most surprising comics to have emerged from DC Rebirth, blending high-stakes military fiction with superhero shenanigans to great effect, and it's arguably on Defiance where Christopher Priest and Carlo Pagulayan got the best out of it.

Slade trains a new team, comprised of his own family and other figures he's encountered over the course of the series, and all wear a black and white uniform to prove their newfound role.

It takes a bit of getting used to, but once it settled in, the Defiance costume was perfect.
