10 Awesome Comics That Deserve Their Own Video Game

3. Heroes For Hire

Heroesforhire This isn't the first time I've expressed my love for the Power Man and Iron Fist comic of the 70s. It was a blaxploitation/kung fu mash-up that was a whole lot of fun. Giving Luke and Danny their own video game where they team up and perform superheroics for the right price would be a lot of fun. You could always go with the noble decision and have the characters stand up for what's right, refusing payment. But when you do that, bills start piling up. So sometimes, you may have to work for some unsavory individuals (in the comics, for example, Luke even accepted a job from Doctor Doom). The more successful your business is, the easier it will be to afford consultants. What are consultants, you might ask? They're other Heroes For Hire you can bring in. Got a stealth mission you need done? Ant-Man would be perfect for that...but only if you can help him pay his rent this month. The Black Cat is a great thief, but before she steals something for you, you better be able to afford her fee. And the types of jobs you take will have an impact on the kind of heroes who are available to you. Shang-Chi would be a wonderful ally to have, but he won't help you out if you've accepted a mission from his villainous father. But maybe there are some criminals who might be willing to play hero for a day if the price is right. You could even have some of these characters available as DLCs. Beyond just the mechanics of hiring other heroes (or villains), you'd also have Luke Cage and Iron Fist as your core team. For the most part, they can tackle missions either solo or as a team. But the Heroes For Hire has boasted a number of interesting characters that it'd be fun to expand and get some assistance from the other characters who have popped up.
