10 Awesome Moments From Mark Waid's Daredevil Run So Far

7. The Spider-Man/Punisher Team-Up

The Omega Crossover Event brought us our first dark Daredevil tale of this run, where he quite verbally reinstates his ethics and morals in the face of ambiguity. And, of course, who can ever pass up a good Punisher/Daredevil tale? The two have gone at it countless times since the late 70s, and even though things have slowed down a bit, they're still both dynamite when put in the same room. And it's the second time we get a 'lil Spider-Man in there, too, which is always a joy to read. Spider-Man and Daredevil bounce off each other like no other two superheroes, with Matt taking the high road as the older brother figure, and Peter snapping right back with his heightened strength and abilities. It takes a real skill to find their chemistry without making them too similar, but Waid most certainly succeeds when he has the two pair up.

Cameron Carpenter is an aspiring screenwriter, current film and journalism student, and self-diagnosed cinephile, which only sounds bad in certain circles. Devoted fan of comics, movies, theater, Jesus Christ, Sidney Lumet, and Peter O'Toole, he sometimes spends too much time on his Scribd and comicbookmovie.com, but doesn't think you're one to judge, devoted reader. You can follow him on Twitter to watch him talk to people you didn't know exist. Oh, and Daredevil is quite the big deal around here (my head).
