For a vigilante who's eighty years old, you can imagine that Batman has been there, done it, and gotten the t-shirt. He's had to face some of the nastiest and greatest villains in the DC Universe each and every month while, at the same time, having to train a very large amount of vigilantes he's picked up off the street and he's had to do all this while dressed as a giant bat.
Gotham is his city and he will defend it to the bitter end - that has always been his mantra - but with this has come some moments that he's probably not too proud of, and others that have sent ripples through the comic book fandom for the sheer "WHAT THE HELL?!" reaction they have produced.
For someone who is known as the Dark Knight, there have been, as you can imagine, some skeletons that Bruce Wayne would probably be happier to keep locked in his closet. But these things have a way of getting out and they have led to some truly jaw-dropping moments.

10. THAT Scene With Catwoman In The New 52
After DC had finished up the Flashpoint arc it decided to press the reset button and in doing so, launched the New 52 upon the world. This run would last nearly five years and would face a huge backlash.
There were a lot of reasons for this but the main argument seemed to be that for every Court of Owls or Death of the Family, there were some major missteps such as 'Convergence'. And things weren't helped at all by the first issue of Catwoman.
After her apartment was firebombed, Selina Kyle set out to find who was responsible. This led to a run in with some Russian gangsters and ended with her in a penthouse suite, bumping uglies with the Dark Knight.
Compared to what you can see in shows like Game of Thrones or American Gods it was pretty tame, but that didn't stop the internet having a collective meltdown when the book was released and, for once, it had a point.
There was no need for it. It did neither character any favors and seemed to be included just so DC could say "Well, this should prove we're not for kids".
