10 Beloved DC Comics Due For A Comeback

The Legion of Super-Heroes are a group of die-hard superheroes from a kitchen sink sci-fi future wherein peace has been achieved and all work as one. It's a great, fun comic that's like the Avengers times three thousand.

But more than that, they're representative of a whole type of comic that's missing from the stands right now - Silver Age miracles, drenched in dreamwork, and showing nothing but fantasy.

Tales of a world on the brink of war, fighting back with a Justice Society, a world where all of the worlds unite as one and have, to guard them, a thousand years in the future, an entire Legion of Super-Heroes, who count among their members at least one version of Superman and a reformed Braniac child. It's a silly sci-fi series that exists for spectacle. It's what all comics are supposed to be.

But it's not being published right now. Nothing like it is. Nothing as fun or light-hearted. Oh, well, if rumors are true, pretty soon we'll get the Legion back. Let's hope.
