10 Best Batman Villains You Totally Forgot Existed

3. Nocturna

Flamingo DC Comics
DC Comics

Her name may may not ring a bell but Nocturna is one of the most dominant criminals in Gotham. She has the power of metamorphosis, intangibility, teleportation, healing, mind control, superstrength, and immortality.

Oh yeah. And she's a freaking vampire. As you would expect, the sinister succubus can amplify her power by consuming blood and transform her victims into mindless lackeys with a single bite.

owever, Nocturna usually relies on a subtler approach to get what she wants. When Kate Kane AKA Batwoman kept interfering with her plans, Nocturna hypnotised her to break up with her girlfriend, Maggie Sawyer. Nocturna then started dating Kate and used her connections to advance her own nefarious schemes.

Having Bats square off against a vampire may sound silly but Nocturna works as a villain since she relies on outsmarting her enemies rather than her brute strength, like most of Batman's best enemies. Even though she primarily dukes it out with Batwoman, she has had several altercations with Batman and it would be cool to see her become a more regular foe against the Gotham knight.
