10 Best Spider-Man Romances

9. Cindy Moon

Spider-Man Black Cat Wedding
Marvel Comics

In the Amazing Spider-Man run of 2014, we learn the frankly ridiculous fact that the spider that gave Peter his powers kept biting, thus providing the origin for Silk, aka Cindy Moon.

Moon was kept locked in a bunker to protect her from any threats (mainly the spider powered eating Devourers), but when finally released, she became irresistible to our hero, and vice-versa.

Seriously, you put these two in the same room, and they're going to be all over each other in seconds. It has something to do with pheromones and a heightened Spider-Sense... or something. It's pretty weird.

Not a romance that could ever be considered the best, but certainly one that left a long lasting affect on Spidey.

Thankfully after a few tiresome weeks Marvel very sensibly decided that the best thing to do was to drop the whole romance side of their relationship entirely, allowing Cindy to become a hero in her own right. This led to her playing a pivotal role in the Spider-Verse event as well as eventually gaining enough popularity to be front and centre in her own series.
