3. Terra - The Judas Contract

Readers actually discover Terra's deception in the Judas Contract relatively early into the arc in question, but that hasn't stopped it from becoming one of - if not the - most iconic superhero betrayals.

Deathstroke's plot to take down the Teen Titans is ruthless and creepy in equal respect, and it's even fair to say that Terra is herself a victim of the Terminator's machinations.
